How it works on our truck lanes (WA, OR, ID, MT, Northern CA, Reno): our crew loads, drives our truck and delivers.

How it works everywhere else: our crew loads a one-way 26 ft truck, our own driver takes it the whole way, and we hire local help to unload. Still your truck only.

Say it like this: "With a van line your things share a trailer with other families and show up somewhere in a delivery window. With us it's your truck, our driver, and a date we plan together."

Don't promise: a guaranteed delivery date or a flat price before we see the inventory. Promise the dedicated truck and direct delivery.

Spot a broker: ask "Who owns the truck?" and "What's your USDOT number?" A broker can't name its own truck and crew.

Van line estimates are usually by weight, with add-ons for stairs, long carries, shuttles and packing. A low number up front can grow.

When a van line fits: a very large home, a corporate relocation paid by the employer, or a customer with no firm dates.

Your line: "They're a fine option if your dates are flexible. If you need to know when your stuff arrives and who's handling it, that's what we do."
